It's never too early to start thinking about Clearing! Sign up for our Clearing emails below and receive:

Clearing is your way to find a place at university if you've applied late, changed your mind or results are not as expected. Clearing 2026 opens on 2 July, but the majority of students will use it from A-level results day on Thursday 13 August.

Applying for a place in Clearing

If you already have your results from a previous year, or are expecting them very soon (eg if you sat the International Baccalaureate), we’ll be opening our Clearing hotline on Thursday 2 July.  

As a guide, for most of our courses*, we’re expecting to consider IB grades from 24 overall or 444 at Higher Level, or CCC at A-level, or equivalent, but we’re happy to discuss your options if you’re interested in studying with us.  
Some courses may require a specific grade in a relevant subject, but please call us to discuss your results. 

*some exceptions may apply
