Halls on campus
Once you’ve confirmed your Clearing place with us you can apply for accommodation using our Online Accommodation System*.
If you apply by our accommodation deadline of 10am (UK time) on 14 July you'll be guaranteed an offer of a room.
If you're planning on using Clearing after this date, don't worry! We'll be updating this page with more information on room availability as we get nearer A-level results day. In the meantime, have a look at our accommodation pages to get an idea of where you could be living.
*Please note it can take up to 24 hours after your course place has been confirmed before your accommodation profile becomes active and you’re able to apply.
Commuting
Many of our students choose to commute to Royal Holloway and we're ideally placed if you live in the London or south east of England area. Find out more.
Private accommodation
You can also live in private rented accommodation in the local area, where houses are of a high standard and living costs compare favourably with other parts of the south east.
The Students’ Union runs HouseSearch, an online service where you can search properties in the local area. If you sign a contract for private accommodation, you won't be able to take a room in Halls.
Visit our private rented accommodation information to find out more.
