When should I expect a decision?
For undergraduate applicants, we aim to respond to your application within four weeks. However applications submitted on or around the UCAS Equal Consideration Deadline, 14 January 2026, may take significantly longer due to the increase in applications submitted at this time.
For postgraduate applicants, we aim to respond to your application within four weeks but this may be longer during peak periods and holidays such as Christmas and Easter.
If you're waiting for a decision beyond the time period given above, please contact our Admissions team.

What happens if I don’t meet my offer conditions?
If you miss the offer by a reasonable margin, your application is referred back to the department to be reconsidered.
We will then inform you of our decision via your Applicant Portal.
If you are a UCAS applicant, you will then be released to your insurance choice or into clearing and this will be visible on your UCAS Hub.
I have a question about the course. Who should I contact?
For any course related questions, contact your department. You can find contact details for the departments here.
Can I be considered for an alternative course?
To request a change please send your request to the contact details in your offer letter which can be found on your Applicant Portal.
If your new course is for a very different subject, please include a new personal statement about why you want to study this new programme. The Admissions Office will then consider your request and contact you by email.
This does not jeopardise your original course offer. Once a new offer is made, this will replace your original one.
