The first is The Cambridge Companion to Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, a collection of studies by leading experts in ancient philosophy. The second is a revised and updated edition of his 2006 book Stoicism, which was described by reviewers as 'excellent', 'outstanding', and 'the best introduction to the subject'.
