The Chapel

Housed in the spectacular Founder’s Building and completed in 1886, our beautiful non-denominational gilded chapel includes bas-reliefs by Ceccardo Fucigna and a fine three-manual organ. The amazing acoustics in the chapel will wow your guests and create a unique sense of occasion.

A Church of England marriage in the Chapel is a possibility that is open to current staff, current students, children of current long-standing members of staff, and alumni of Royal Holloway, but other Christian weddings are open to all couples who meet the criteria set by the General Register Office and Chaplaincy.
