Degree Outcome Statement

Royal Holloway, University of London Degree Outcome Statement, March 2025.

This statement gives details of undergraduate degree results at Royal Holloway. It provides information about our degree awarding pattern, forms of assessment, developments in teaching, learning and assessment, the system of external review of our standards, and the algorithm used to calculate awards. This is the updated position to reflect our 2024 results.

This statement follows the guidance and recommendations of the UK Standing Committee for Quality Assessment (UKSCQA) working with Universities UK, GuildHE and the Quality Assurance Agency that all degree awarding institutions publish a clear statement of pattern of awards, award processes and governance, and the algorithms used to award degree classes. The 2025 statement was considered at University Education Committee before being approved by Academic Board and Students’ Education and Research Committee (on behalf of University Council).
