What is Street Law?

Street Law is a dynamic educational initiative that brings legal knowledge to life for the general public. Through interactive workshops, students teach practical legal topics to community members—empowering them to understand their rights, navigate everyday legal issues, and engage confidently with the legal system.

We deliver sessions in schools, charities, community centres, and other public spaces, helping to demystify the law and equip individuals with the tools to tackle real-world legal challenges.

Why Get Involved?

Participating in Street Law offers hands-on experience and bridges the gap between legal theory and practice. Benefits include:

•    Developing public speaking, teaching, and communication skills
•    Gaining insight into how the law affects diverse communities
•    Making a meaningful social impact
•    Building professional networks with legal practitioners and partner organisations
•    Enhancing employability and career prospects
